ChIP Sequencing

ChIP sequencing: (also includes eCLIP)

ChIP-seq is used to analyze the interactions of proteins with DNA. DNA is cross-linked and immunoprecipitated. The DNA binding sites of the associated proteins are sequestered, made into libraries and sequenced to determine which DNA loci are associated with the protein of interest.

eCLIP-seq (enhanced CLIP) is used to analyze RNA binding proteins. Amplification and sample requirements are similar to ChIP-seq.

iCLIP-seq, RIP-seq, HITS-CLIP-seq (CLIP-seq), seCLIP-seq, etc. are all compatible with our sequencing platforms.
